3rd Thursday Artwalk

This month, eight locations will feature visual, culinary, literary and performing arts: Pour Company, Moscow Contemporary, Moscow Food Co-op, Thrivent Financial, Moscow Chamber of Commerce + Visitor Center, Third Street Gallery, Latah County Historical Society, One World Cafe. The event also introduces two new artworks in the city of Moscow Public Art collection. These pieces, each a part of the Storm Drain Mural program, are an outreach effort to raise awareness for the relationship between storm drains and the health of local waterbodies. The artworks were made by local artists and are available to view at: NE Corner of 3rd & Main St., Amy McKenna and Telisa Swan, "Into the Depths," Acrylic, 2022. SW Corner of 6th & Main St., John Donald Carlucci, "Woes of Nessie," Vinyl, 2022. 3rd Thursday in October also marks the unveiling of the artwork featured on the 2022-23 Artwalk Season poster. The artwork, titled "A Street" and created by John Larkin, depicts an urban landscape familiar to the residents of Moscow. The painting will be on display at the Third Street Gallery as part of "Intersections," a two-person exhibition of works by Larkin and fellow artist David Herbold. Flyers with details about host locations and their arts offerings are available at or in print at host locations.
