Winter Market gets underway Saturday with more than 30 local vendors

Shoppers can make a dent in their holiday shopping at the first Winter Market of the season, set for Saturday Nov. 5, at the
1912 Center, 412 E. Third St., Moscow.

The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first two Saturdays of this month and December, and the first Saturday of February and March. The event includes more than 30 artisan vendors set up throughout the building, selling locally produced items such as baked goods, honey, wood and fiber art, bags and quilts.

Lunch Nov. 5 will be available for purchase from Wilder Catering’s Stephanie Wilkes, who was the head chef at former Moscow restaurant Bloom.

The newly renovated Friends of the Moscow Library Book Room on the second floor will be open for shopping, and the Moscow Day School’s Winter Gear Exchange will be set up this week in the Arts Workshop.

Lunch on Nov. 12 will be by Mariana's Tamales, and Feronia Consignment and Wellness Boutique will be in the Arts Workshop space.
