Members of the Rince Na Gra School of Irish Dance will tell the story of “Robin Hood” through music and dance this weekend in Pullman.
Performances are at 6 p.m. Friday and 2 and 6 p.m. Saturday at the Jones Theatre, 1060 NE College Ave., inside Washington State University’s Daggy Hall.
The all-ages performance includes 80 Irish dancers and features the Rince Na Gra Company dancers as the beloved (or hated) lead characters, according to a news release from the school.

The Yarn Underground’s annual Cabin Fever Spin-In, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Latah County Fairgrounds, 1021 Harold St., Moscow, celebrates all things fiber arts.
A $2 donation is suggested for entry to the event, organized by the Moscow yarn store, which brings together knitters, crocheters and spinne rs for a day of crafters’ circles and demonstrations along with vendors, a fleece sale, raffle and a covered-dish meal. Attendees can bring a dish for the meal in lieu of a monetary donation.
History buffs can learn about infamous Northwest bootlegger Roy Olmstead from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at Basalt Cellars, 906 Port Drive, Clarkston.
Indie film screenwriter and producer Steve Edmiston, of Des Moines, Wash., will present “Whiskey and Wiretaps: The Northwest’s Rumrunning King” at the free event organized by the Asotin County Library, Basalt Cellars and Humanities Washington.
Edmiston, also a business and entertainment lawyer with Bracepoint Law in Seattle, will recount Olmstead’s Prohibition era enterprise, which ended in 1925 when he was trapped by federal agents on Puget Sound.
“Using photographs, documents, newspapers and court cases, Edmiston breathes life into Olmstead’s story by exploring historical context, his entrepreneurial brilliance, his code of conduct and the profound impact of his legal battles today,” according to a Humanities Washington news release.
