“A Portrait of Mid-Century Moscow: The Teenaged Photography of Rick Jones"

free
The Latah County Historical Society, in partnership with the Moscow Chamber of Commerce + Visitor Center, presents its newest exhibit.
Jones became a photography enthusiast while working at Hodgins Drug of Moscow during his eighth grade year. He would go on to take photos for the Moscow High School yearbook and school paper, as well as freelancing for local newspapers and television. This continued during his attendance at the University of Idaho; one notable photo even appeared in a 1956 issue of Life magazine, showing football coach Skip Staley at the moment UI beat Washington State College (now WSU) for the first time in over 30 years.
Reception during Artwalk from 4-8 p.m. Oct. 17. The Moscow Chamber is open 9-11 a.m. and 1-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
