A Reading and Conversation with Writer Aisha Sabatini Sloan

UI's Spring 2022 Distinguished Visiting Writer Aisha Sabatini Sloan will read from her newest work — "Borealis" (Coffee House Press) and "Captioning the Archives" (McSweeney's Publishing) — then discuss the art of nonfiction with UI professor Brian Blanchfield. An NEA Fellowship recipient and a professor of creative writing at University of Michigan, Aisha Sabatini Sloan is the author of four award-winning books of essays.
