Palouse Women Artist exhibit “Bird Brained” opens Sunday, March 6 with an opening reception from 1-3 p.m. The exhibit continues through March 27. The Dahmen Barn is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday-Sunday.
Palouse Women Artist organization provide women in the arts with a strong, enduring support system as they pursue the arts personally and professionally. They have 35 members working in all mediums and at all skill levels from professional installation artist to beginning artists.
A fun lighthearted exhibit feature fun bird-themed art in a variety of mediums. In these crazy times and coming out of a pandemic when the world feels like it is in a disarray this exhibit will surely make you chuckle. Just a few of the examples of works on display are bird whistles created from ceramic, birds created from paper and fine oil paintings of eagles.
