Visitors to a watercolor exhibit opening Jan. 6 in Moscow might recognize scenes from the city’s downtown, the University of Idaho Arboretum and the rural Palouse.
Moscow artist Bobbi Kelly’s work will be on display through March 31 at Jamie Knudson State Farm, 318 S. Main St. The office’s hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Kelly enjoys painting landmarks from her hometown and the Palouse in a style she calls "casual realism," according to an email from Palouse Watercolor Socius board member Jan Vogtman.
Most recently, Vogtman said, Kelly has created colorful, tie-dye inspired watercolor collages, tearing and reassembling various pieces to create semi-abstract compositions.
