"Breaking the Bell Jar" by Sarah Hartwig

A staged reading. Esther Black is a college senior ready to apply for an internship at ever major newspaper. All she needs is a great letter of recommendation from her literary analysis professor. However, he won't give it to her until she finishes reading "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath and completes a project. This might not sound like a big deal, but when Sylvia comes to life, it turns into a mental game that Esther isn't ready for. Note: "Break the Bell Jar" contains adult language and situations.
