Decorated Christmas trees have again sprouted in the Nez Perce County Fair Pavilion in the Lewiston Orchards for the 34th annual Tri-State Hospital Foundation Festival of Trees, which continues Nov. 23-24.

The annual Joanne Shears Vintage Style Show and Tea begins at 10 a.m. Nov. 23. Tickets are $20 each for the event, while they last.

The finale of the annual event is the Festival of Trees Gala, Dinner, Auction and Dance which begins at 6 p.m. Nov. 24. It features live and silent auctions, dinner and dancing to live music by the 7 Devils of the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley. Tickets are $100.

Tickets for the Friday and Saturday events may be purchased online at festivaloftrees.tristatehospital.org or by calling (509) 758-4902. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit hospital. The fair pavilion is at 1229 Burrell Ave.

Nov. 23-24

The annual Christmas Kickoff in Dayton, Wash., Nov. 23-24 features a lighted parade, historic home tours, live music, tree lighting and fireworks.

Nov. 23, an Ugly Christmas Sweater fun run kicks off at 11 a.m., mule-drawn hayrides from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., a lighted parade at 6 p.m. followed by fireworks and tree lighting. A live nativity will be staged at 4 and 5 p.m.

The restored historic Boldman House will feature period costumes and decorations as well as live piano music. The house, at 410 N. First St., is open for free tours from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 23-24.

A lighted home tour will leave from Elk Drug after the fireworks Nov. 23 and at 7 p.m. Nov. 24.

Nov. 26

A free University of Idaho Guitar Ensemble concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 26 in the Haddock Performance Hall on the Moscow campus.

The hall is at 1010 Blake Ave.

Nov. 28

The Washington State University Symphonic Band and Symphonic Wind Ensemble will give a free concert from 8 to 10 p.m. Nov. 28 in the Bryan Hall Theatre on the Pullman campus.
