"Emme and the Taking of the Woods"

Emme, a precocious and intelligent 9-year-old, likens himself to the heroes of all the very best myths and legends of yore. But when he answers a mysterious call for help emanating from the woods behind his house in the dark of night, he finds himself facing a destructive force that is obliterating entire worlds across the multiverse.
