Educator Mandy Smoker Broaddus will discuss “Engaging Schools and Native American Communities through Culturally Responsive Education” at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March, 16. Broaddus, an enrolled member of the Assiniboine and Sioux tribes in Montana, works with Education Northwest as a Native education expert. This Native American Awareness Week activity is presented by the LCSC Native American Club, Idaho Humanities Council, Associated Students of LCSC, President’s Diversity Commission, Nez Perce Tribe, Pi’amkinwaas and Clearwater River Casino and Lodge.
