Robin Nimmer will present “Ensuring a Lasting Supply” at the League of Women Voters of Moscow Speaker Forum at noon Wednesday (Mar. 30). Nimmer is currently working with the Palouse Basin Aquifer Committee (PBAC) in identifying and evaluating additional water supplies within the Palouse Basin. Nimmer will her share recent progress and current refinement of potential water supply sources. The presentation will be on Zoom. Login information can be found on the LWVM website at lwvmoscow.org.
Nimmer, a senior hydrogeologist, project manager and leader of the Water Resources Division at Alta Science and Engineering, holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, an M.S. in Hydrology from the University of Idaho, and a PhD in Geology from the University of Idaho. She is a Professional Geologist in Idaho and a Licensed Geologist in Washington. Nimmer works on hydrogeology-related projects in the northwest and specializes in flow and transport in fractured rock. Her projects range from characterizing and remediating groundwater contamination to helping individuals and communities have a sufficient water supply.
