Crafters’ circles, vendors, a fleece sale, demonstrations and a raffle are in store next weekend for fans of — or those curious about — fiber arts.
The Yarn Underground’s Cabin Fever Spin-In is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 11 at the Latah County Fairgrounds, 1021 Harold Ave., Moscow.
Organizers are asking for a $2 donation at the door to go toward kids’ knitting groups in the community — or a food item to be shared at a covered-dish meal during the event.
Eighteen vendors are set to be on hand, and spinning with wheels and spindles, weaving, making bobbin lace, knitting and crocheting, rug hooking and felting will be represented.
The Yarn Underground, in Moscow, started in a downtown basement in 2010 and, now at 409 S. Washington St., sells wool, natural fibers, tools, spinning wheels and other supplies for beginner-through-experienced crafters.
