"From the China Boom to U.S.-China Rivalry"

Uploaded by jeffkm
In this Asia on the Palouse Speakers Series talk, Ho-fung Hung, Wiesenfeld Professor in Political Economy and Chair of the Department of Sociology at Johns Hopkins University, argues that the recent rivalry between the U.S. and China is more about the shifting balance of economic forces in global capitalism than about ideological differences. Prof. Hung's talk will be held in-person in the Clearwater Room at the Idaho Student Union Building and is co-sponsored by the Idaho Asia Institute and the Department of Culture, Society and Justice.
