My wife and I watched this squirrel try several times to get the bird feed from our feeder. After several attempts including a fall to ground that surprised us and the squirrel, he came back after a few days of thought on how he was going to overcome this bird feeder. He succeeded by gripping the hanger wire with its hind foot in order reach down to the bird feed and fill its cheeks. Photos By Jerry Cunnington 3/30/2021
