"God & Country"

Presented by Community Congregational United Church of Christ in Pullman and The United Church of Moscow. Introduction by the Rev. Gary Jewell, Community Congregational United Church of Christ. The movie, produced by Rob Reiner, looks at the growing trend of Christian Nationalism, specifically at its implications and how it distorts not only our constitutional republic, but Christianity itself. Featuring prominent Christian thought leaders, it asks what happens when a faith built on love, sacrifice and forgiveness grows political tentacles, conflating power, money and belief into hypernationalism.
