Gregory Hinton's Storytelling & The Queer Experience: A Verbatim Approach - Public Presentation

Led by Gregory Hinton, author, playwright, filmmaker and lecturer, this event features work crafted from a verbatim theatre writing workshop. Participants (students, faculty and community members) will present short pieces created from Idaho LGBTQ+ archived material and history. The evening will close with “Walking Steven Home” which Hinton created from the family impact statements at the sentencing hearing of Steven Nelson's murderer in Boise five years ago.
