Idaho Public Television reception is Sunday at Lindsay Creek Vineyards

Idaho Public Television viewers can get some behind-the-scenes insight about how documentaries are made at a free Sunday evening, Aug. 28, reception at Lindsay Creek Vineyards in Lewiston.

The “Celebrating Idaho” community appreciation event is slated for 6:30 p.m. at the winery, 3107 Powers Ave., where stories about the creation of the Idaho Experience film “The Last Log Drive” will be shared, according to an IPTV news release.

A presentation also will include clips from the forthcoming Outdoor Idaho films “This Is Rodeo” and “The Bitterroots,” as well as a documentary on the 50-year legacy of the Sunshine Mine fire.

There will be hors d'oeuvre and a no-host bar.

Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP as soon as possible at idahoptv.org/events.
