"Legal Ramifications in Idaho of Overturning Roe v. Wade"

Shaakirrah R. Sanders, visiting professor of law, Penn State Dickinson Law, and professor of law, University of Idaho College of Law, will discuss legal updates and developments resulting from Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade. The discussion will include an overview of the multiple lawsuits filed in Idaho’s state and federal courts. Sanders is the first Black, African American to earn the rank of full professor at the University of Idaho and its College of Law. She teaches, writes, and comments on U.S. constitutional law and criminal procedure, including the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Fourteenth Amendments. Sanders is contributor for SCOTUSblog and regularly sought to share commentary on current events related to constitutional law and the U.S. Supreme Court.
