Masterworks for Horn and Strings

The versatility of the horn, along with its centurieslong history as an instrument in classical music, has allowed it to be heard in many different contexts. This recital features two pieces of chamber music for horn and strings, one from the classical era and one from the romantic, by Mozart and Brahms. Martin D. King, horn, will be joined by colleagues Yoon-Wha Roh, piano, Christiano Rodrigues, violin and viola, and Ruth Boden, cello from WSU. Also performing will be University of Idaho faculty member Giselle Hillyer, violin, and WSU student Nanette Erickson, viola.
