Two Moscow men are playing their cards on board games.

Aaron Ament and Ryan Gibler founded Raga Games Galactic LLC and over the past two years have created two board games, RagaPro Football ($25) and Ragapro Baseball ($35). The games use dice and a few tables to create a table-top pro sports experience, according to the creators.

After a few years of design and play testing on each, they meet our tough standards on both having a lot of fun and consuming all your attention. So we decided to manufacture them,” Gibler said in an email.

Ament grew up in Genesee and Gibler in Lewiston, both are University of Idaho graduates and avid gamers. Future games in the works include themes with zombies; swords and sorcery; and hand-to-hand combat. Gibler said they hope to eventually take the concepts to the digital realm.

The games are available in Moscow at Safari Pearl, Hodgins Drug & Hobby and the Moscow Food Co-op and online at ragagamesgalactic.com.
