Artists are invited to submit designs for new vinyl wraps to decorate traffic signal boxes in Moscow.
The city of Moscow and Moscow Arts Commission are accepting design submissions through Feb. 24 to replace vinyl wraps at five existing sites, per the standard five-year rotation, according to a city of Moscow news release.
Sites slated for updating through the annual public art project are:
Water reclamation and reuse facility, 2221 Pullman Road.
- Sixth and Jackson streets.
- Third and Jackson streets.
- Third and Washington streets.
- Sixth and Washington streets.
Artists 18 and older who live in Latah, Nez Perce, Asotin or Whitman counties, along with Nez Perce or Coeur d’Alene tribal members, are eligible to participate.
Pieces chosen by a selection panel will be displayed for as long as five years, with the chosen artists each receiving an honorarium of $700.
