"Navigating Elder Care"

Join Julia Parker, author of "Navigating Eldercare," in conversation with BookPeople of Moscow owner Carol Price about the challenges, joys and unknowns of helping our parents and other elders as they age. Whether you are already struggling with elder care issues or expect to in the future, this event will offer insight into issues that might arise and guidance on where to begin. Parker is a geriatric nurse and elder care leader with a reputation for passionate and intelligent advocacy for elders and their families. In addition to her years of experience in geriatric nursing, she has participated in training through: American Nursing Credential Center as a certified geriatric nurse; National Council of Certification Dementia Practitioners; Alzheimer’s Association; and American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. She is the author of "Navigating Elder Care," published in 2021, and has written for McKnight’s Senior Living and Idaho Nurse. She lives in Moscow with her family.
