Old Time Contra Dance

Palouse Folklore Society monthly Community Contra Dance with live music by Crooked Kilt and calling by Nora Scott. Masterful fiddle playing from Carla Carnegie, great rhythm guitar by Tom Carnegie and percussion by the awesome Anna Carnegie-Vierra. Dance lessons at 7:30, band starts at 8. Dancing till 10:30. Traditional country dances, great live music, family-friendly fun. All dances are taught, no partners necessary. Beginners, singles and families: All are welcome. Kids participate for free.
