RESCHEDULED: The Alzheimer’s Association Washington and North Idaho Chapter is rescheduling its Lewiston Walk to End Alzheimer’s event scheduled for Sept. 10. This decision was made due to poor air quality projected to be worse on the original walk date. The health and safety of participants is the Association’s No. 1 priority. The new pending date is Oct. 15 at Kiwanis Park. The walk web page will be updated with details as soon as possible. act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk2022/WA-WashingtonState?fr_id=15959&pg=entry
Held annually, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
While there is no fee to register for Walk, all participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
