“Rise Up with a Song”

An early release party for award-winning local children’s author Diane Worthey's new book. Worthey will read from the children’s book that celebrates Ethel Smyth, a British composer and suffragette, who influenced the Women's Right to Vote movement in England and America. There will be songs, music, marching and a high tea. Participants are welcome to come dressed in early 20th century period costume. Pre-release copies will be available for purchase from BookPeople of Moscow during the event only, and Worthey will be available to sign books. RSVP at pullmanucc.org.
