This week's cover art — a pen, ink and watercolor scenic of Swallows Nest Rock, along the Snake River, was done by Brad Teare, a Palouse area native who now lives in Utah.

Teare was born in Moscow and studied fine art at the University of Idaho before pursuing a career in illustration working for the New York Times and illustrating books for authors such as James Michener and Alice Walker. His fine art has been exhibited in New York and Dubai. He lives in Providence, Utah.

You can see more of his work at his blog, bradteare.blogspot.com.
