Synesthesia: Sounds and Scents of Brazil

In a collaboration between two apparently unlikely departments from Washington State University, César Haas, professor of guitar and jazz studies at the School of Music, and Carolyn Ross, sensory scientist from the School of Food Science, have come up with a sensory performance experience combining music and scent. This collaboration was instigated by the new Director of the School of Music, Keri McCarthy, in an effort to increase interaction of the School of Music with different units across the university.
