Farmers market season starts Saturday in Moscow, with other area markets starting over the coming weeks, including a few changes since last year.

The
Moscow Farmers Market happens every Saturday May through October, rain or shine, on Main Stre et and at Friendship Square. It accepts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program/Electronic Benefits Transfer and Washington Women, Infants & Children and Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program benefits.

The region will see one fewer market this summer, with the
Pullman Farmers Market suspending operations. The Pullman Chamber of Commerce “made the decision to take this season off to reevaluate the market strategies and goals,” according to the market’s Facebook page at

The
Lewiston Farmers Market will continue, but in a different location. It’s set for 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays June through September in the old Shopko parking lot, 2120 Thain Grade. SNAP/EBT and Washington state WIC and SFMNP are accepted.

The
Potlatch Idaho Farmers Market will be at the same location, in the WI&M Depot, where the Latah Farmers Market had operated since 2022. The market, with new organizers, is scheduled for 4-7 p.m. Wednesdays June through September at 185 Sixth St.

Latah Farmers Market’s fourth season starts June 1 and runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through October, rain or shine, at Troy City Park, just off Highway 8.
Anyone interested in becoming a vendor can attend an orientation meeting from 6-8 p.m May 15 at the Troy City Park Gazebo.

Orofino Farmers Market is set to run from 3-7 p.m. every Tuesday June through September at Orofino City Park, 101 Michigan Ave., and 3-7 p.m. every third Thursday downtown, on Johnson Street. Market organizers say they anticipate accepting SNAP/EBT this season.

Pomeroy Summer Market is scheduled for 4-7 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of the month June through September in the city park, 212 Washington Route 128, pending community input on the hours, according to market manager Shelly Slaybaugh.
