“Tough Paradise”

Series of three book discussions with the theme "Tough Paradise," featuring true stories of early homesteading in the area. Books for each discussion are available to check out. Program presented by the Idaho Commission for Libraries, Idaho Humanities Council and National Endowment for the Humanities. Saturday afternoons at 1 p.m.: * Jan. 21, "Home Below Hell’s Canyon," by Grace Jordan, facilitated by Russ Tremayne. * Feb. 11, "Lochsa Road," by Kim Stafford, facilitated by Ron McFarland. * March 4, "Stump Ranch Pioneer," by Nelle Portrey Davis, facilitated by Carrie Seymour.
