Women's History Month: “More Than a Game"

The final event of Lewis-Clark State College's Women's History Month series is a keynote presentation by President Cynthia Pemberton. Pemberton is the author of the book “More Than a Game: One Woman’s Fight for Gender Equity in Sport,” which examines Title IX compliance and gender equity in sports during the 1990s at Linfield College while Pemberton was there serving as head women’s and men’s swim coach, a faculty member and later as senior women’s administrator for athletics.
