15 left for semi-finals of Opera House has Talent

Fifteen contestants are still standing in the ongoing Opera House has Talent competition in Kooskia.

Performers from around the Northwest will vie for more than $1,500 in prize money at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the theater. They’ve made it through round one of the competition to advance to Saturday night’s semifinals.

People have taken notice of singer Ashley Nelson of Nezperce who won the Crowd Favorite of the Week vote. Three judges will decide Saturday’s winners, who will advance to the finals at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1. First prize is $1,000, second prize is $200 and third prize is $100.
