Ready. Set. Go. The mad dash at the 73rd annual Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt last year at Lewiston's Sunset Park. Start to finish is less than one minute in the sprint to gather up the eggs.

Thousands of eggs are due to hatch candy and prizes this weekend in an annual celebration of spring and Easter. Here are some of the top places kids can find them.


LEWISTON

New Bridges Community Church Community Easter Egg Hunt When: 10 a.m. Saturday Ages: 2 to sixth grade Where: Pioneer Park, Lewiston More than 10,000 eggs divided into groups.

74th annual Lewiston Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt When: 1 p.m. Saturday Where: Sunset Park, Lewiston Ages: 2 to 9 The egg hunt includes a section for special needs children.

First Church of the Nazarene Easter Egg Hunt When: 9:30 a.m. Sunday Where: 1700 Eighth St., Lewiston Ages: 12 and younger (for the hunt) A free Easter brunch is at 9 a.m.

Lewiston Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10043 annual Easter Egg Hunt When: 1 p.m. Sunday Where: Hereth Park, Lewiston Ages: 1 to 10 Eggs and prizes.

Annual Bizz for Kids Easter Egg Hunt When: 1 p.m. Sunday Where: Clearwater Park, Lewiston Ages:  Infant to 10 Eggs, candy, prizes, free hot dogs, drinks and chips.

CLARKSTON

Spring Celebration sponsored by New Ground Alliance Church When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday Where: Lincoln Middle School Field, Clarkston Ages: Toddlers to fifth grade Egg hunt, prizes, obstacle course, bounce house, free hot dogs and pop.


UNIONTOWN

Annual Uniontown Egg Hunt When: 9:30 a.m. Saturday Where: Holzer Park, Uniontown Ages: All ages Candy, treats and toys. In inclement weather the event will take place at the Uniontown Community Building Gym.


MOSCOW

Aspen Park Health Care Easter Egg Hunt 3:30 p.m. Friday Where: 420 Rowe St., Moscow Ages: 8 and younger Egg hunt, snacks, Easter Bunny visit.

SArb Community Easter Egg Hunt 10 a.m. Saturday Where: University of Idaho Administration Lawn, Moscow Ages: 12 and younger Egg hunt. Gold and silver eggs win special prizes.

Easter Eggstravaganza 11 a.m. Saturday Where: Eastside Marketplace, 1420 S. Blaine St., Moscow Ages: 5 and younger (for the hunt) Egg hunt, cake walk, crafts and games.

Moscow Central Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt 10 a.m. Saturday Where: East City Park, Moscow Ages: 10 and younger More than 2,000 eggs filled with candy, treats. Special eggs include $$


PULLMAN

56th annual Easter Egg Hunt by the city of Pullman and Pullman Kiwanis Club 10 a.m. Saturday Ages: 9 and younger Where: Kruegel Park, Pullman More than 7,000 eggs, prizes and gifts. Hunts start at 10 a.m. for ages 1 to 4 and 10:10 a.m. for ages 5 to 9.


CRAIGMONT

Craigmont Lions annual Easter Egg Hunt 10 a.m. Saturday Where: Craigmont City Park Ages: 12 and younger Besides the hunt, the Craigmont Fire/Quick Response Unit and Friends will hold a bake sale at 8 a.m. at Craigmont City Hall.


KOOSKIA

Kooskia Easter Egg Hunt 10 a.m. Saturday Where: Kooskia City Park Ages: 11 and younger Easter Bunny visit, egg hunt, bunny hop, games and prizes.


WHITE BIRD

White Bird Chamber Easter Egg Hunt When: 10 a.m. Saturday Ages: 0 to 12 Where: White Bird Recreational District (old White Bird Elementary School) Hot dogs will be for sale after the hunt as a fundraiser for the event.
