College Hill Friends and Family assembled in a back yard on Pullman's Indiana Street for the annual neighborhood BBQ on June 27, 2019. Special guests included City of Pullman Police Chief Gary Jenkins (back row, 4th from right) and Washington State University First Lady Noel Schulz (front row, red jacket). Food service for the annual event was sponsored by generous neighborhood businesses, The Coug and Stubblefields.

Build Season has now begun and the SciBorgs are busy building and testing prototypes! The FIRST Robotics Competition 2024 season’s game Crescendo, presented by The Haas Company, began on January 6th. In the game the robotics team needs to pick up and score foam rings and be able to climb and hang from a chain during each match! The high school students from Moscow, Pullman, Colfax, and the surrounding area are working hard to design a robot with those capabilities. The team is also developing their Swerve Drive programming skills and using SolidWorks CAD software to model the new robot digitally. The SciBorgs are hoping to be able to build the final robot, wire, program, and test drive it by their competition in Clackamas, Oregon on March 1st and 2nd. Although the team designs, builds, and competes with a large robot, F.I.R.S.T. teams aren’t just about building robots. The mentor-based STEM program develops professional, leadership, and communication skills, and it encourages gracious professionalism in all that they do throughout the competition season and beyond. The 4-H PART SciBorgs are celebrating 13 years of inspiring and encouraging students around the Palouse. April 14, 2019: Presentation of the College Hill Association's "Yard of the Semester" award to Coug Housing staff members, who maintain this semester's award-winning yard in the private residence category (Greystone Church Apartments, 430 NE Maple Street).
The College Hill Association and the City of Pullman collaborate each semester to recognize excellence in student yard maintenance. This image, snapped by Marilyn Von Seggern on behalf of the College Hill Association, is on the front steps of the Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter house located at 610 NE Colorado Street in Pullman. It  includes a group of fraternity members, including president Austin Loomis, some College Hill Association board members, and representatives of the City of Pullman, including Planning Director Pete Dickinson and Mayor Glenn Johnson.
Outgoing five-term mayor of Pullman, Glenn Johnson, right, is presented with a Good Neighbor Award and a map illustrated with photos and memories at the College Hill Association's annual neighborhood barbecue June 29. CHA co-chairs Allison Munch-Rotolo, center, and Bob Cady, left, made the presentations on behalf of the group. By tradition, the Good Neighbor Award is presented to nonresidents of College Hill who make significant contributions toward improving the quality of public life in the neighborhood.
Thanks to vaccination, the CHA board of directors was able to host a small holiday party for supporting members and community partners at the Pullman Depot Heritage Center on December 4, 2021.
