“I Married the War,” a documentary about war wives, will be shown Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre, 508 S. Main St., Moscow.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for a veteran and family resource fair, with the film at 6:45, followed by a Q&A with executive producer Norma Jaeger, of Recovery Idaho.
A reception will be from 8:30-9 p.m. at the Latah Recovery Center, 531 Main St.
The event is free; donations go to veterans programming at Latah Recovery Center.
The critically acclaimed documentary, by Boise filmmakers Betty Rodgers and Ken Rodgers, documents the experiences of 11 wives of combat war veterans from World War II through the most recent conflicts, Latah Recovery veterans outreach coordinator James Rankin said.
