Artists and musicians called to Lewiston's downtown Art Walk

Regional artists and musicians are invited to prepare for the second annual Art Walk coming this fall to downtown Lewiston.

The main event is 5-9 p.m. Sept. 28. The deadline for registering as an artist or downtown business is Aug.10. Art will be exhibited at various downtown locations. Artists may have the opportunity to display their work for up to one month afterward.

Artists and musicians interested in participating can submit a registration form with a downtown business. Forms are at www.beautifuldowntownlewiston.org. Artists needing help connecting with a downtown host location can contact Breanne Durham at Beautiful Downtown Lewiston at breanne@beautifuldowntownlewiston.org or Lewis-Clark Center for Arts & History Director Lisa Jones at lljones@lcsc.edu.

The registration fee is $20 per artist.

Art Walk 2011 drew more than 1,000 people and showcased work by 50 artists from around the region.

Art Walk is sponsored by Beautiful Downtown Lewiston and the LCSC Center for Arts & History.
