A bear with a beard becomes rich and famous, wins beard-wrestling matches, gets knighted by a queen and meets other bearded animals from around the world in “Bearded,” a book written and illustrated by Weippe native Jeremy Billups.

Billups graduated from Timberline High School in 1997 and lives in Boise where he works as a graphic designer and illustrator. He self-published the 23-page book this year through amazon.com, where it is available for $1.99 as an e-book.
