These cormorants and a gull were enjoying one of the very old rickety piers along the Yaquina River just between Toledo and Newport Oregon. Taken on Aug. 15th as we biked the trail between the two towns.

This contrast of the striped building lines with the organic plant shapes drew my eye on the south wall of Moscow's Dollar Tree. Taken by Chris Dopke on Dec. 23rd.
This late night shot was taken during a late night hockey game on March 18th in Moscow.
Taken on Indian Hills Dr. on Feb. 27, random snow and ice and dirt, really.
Loved the brilliant colors at the UI Arboretum of the hosta garden on Ocober 17th.
