Tips collected from this weekend’s annual Lewiston Brewfest go toward suicide awarness efforts, while proceeds from a brewfest next weekend help support Pullman’s Gladish Community and Cultural Center.

The Lewiston event, set for 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Nez Perce County Fairgrounds, 1229 Burrell Ave., promises more than 30 different beers, food and music. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Tips made at the event will go to Suicide Prevention of the Northwest, a nonprofit group based in Lewiston that organizes education and awareness events to help reduce the stigma around suicide and mental health.

Tickets, $20, are at lewistonbrews.com. VIP tickets, which include early access at 1 p.m., a pint glass, a koozie and eight extra tokens, are $25. Free rides home will be available within the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley.

The Gladish Brewfest, at 2 p.m. March 4 at the center, 115 NW State St., Pullman, will have craft beer, music and food trucks. Tickets, $25 at gladishcommunity.org/tickets/brewfest, include a glass and five drink tickets. Additional tickets are $2 each.

The event is a fundraiser for a renovation project planned for the Gladish’s Centre for the Arts.
