Live music, hospital tours for the kids and two looks back in time at the journey of Lewis and Clark are just a few of the goings-on this week.
April 27
Children can bring their favorite stuffed animals — whether they have boo-boos or not — to the annual Teddy Bear Clinic April 27 at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow. The free event will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
The annual clinic is aimed at families with children to allow them to learn about the hospital in a relaxed environment, according to a news release. Attendees will take a self-guided tour through the hospital, visiting a variety of education stations along the way. Ambulance and fire truck tours also are planned.
In addition to the tours, the event will feature snacks, crafts and — if the weather cooperates — an inflatable obstacle course and bounce house.

April 27-28
The 34th annual Seaport Quilters Guild Quilt Show will be held April 27-28 at Clarkston High School, 401 Chestnut St.
Hours for the exhibit and show are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 27 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28. This year’s theme is “A Stitch in Time,” and about 200 entries will be displayed.
A variety of vendors also will be set up at the show, and demonstrations are planned. Admission is $4 per person.
The show is an official event of the Dogwood Festival of the Lewis-Clark Valley.
April 27-28
The fifth and final concert of the Washington Idaho Symphony’s 47th season, featuring winners of the 2019 Young Artists Competition, will be performed this April 27-28 in Pullman and Lewiston.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. April 27 in the Pullman High School theater and at 3 p.m. April 28 in the Lewiston High School auditorium.
Performing as featured soloists with the symphony will be Bridget Scoles of Moscow, a violist and winner of the college division, and Yvette Kraft of Spokane, a violinist and the high school division winner. The Greater Palouse Youth Orchestra also will perform.
Admission is $25 regular price, $10 for students age 12 and older, and free for WSU, UI and LCSC students with ID. A child age 12 or younger is admitted free with a paying adult.

Thomas E. Eier and Jim Jameson, both of Lewiston, will give a presentation titled “Lewis & Clark, Then and Now: Dugout Canoes” at 6:30 p.m. April 29 at the Lewiston City Library.
The library is at 411 D St.
April 30
Garry Bush of Lewiston will give a presentation titled “The Life and Times of Pomp: Jean Baptiste Charbonneau” at 2 p.m. April 30 at Royal Plaza Retirement Center in Lewiston.
Bush will give the interactive presentation in character as the son of Sacajawea, who traveled with the Lewis and Clark expedition.

May 1
The monthly Riverport Band Jam will be from 6 to 9 p.m. May 1 at Riverport Brewing Co. in Clarkston.
All band equipment will be available to use, including instruments and amplifiers. Musicians also are welcome to bring their own instruments. Rules include musicians must be tuned and on time, and there must be at least three musicians on stage at a time.
