Entry date approaches for annual show at Valley Art Center

Community members are invited to participate in the annual June Judged Show at Valley Art Center, 842 Sixth St. in Clarkston.

Original artwork can be entered beginning at 10 a.m. June 3 at the gallery, with fees of $10 per entry for nonmembers and $8 per entry for Valley Art Center members.

An opening reception, where guests can vote for the show’s people’s choice award, is from 4-7 p.m. June 6. The show continues until June 21, after which the gallery will be closed through June 28 while new carpeting is installed in one of the center’s galleries.
