Free Clarkston class introduces kids ages 7-12 to acting

Registration is open for a free two week theater class for kids ages 7-12 at the Clarkston Heights Grange.

The "How to Act" class is from 3 to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Aug. 13-24. Registration is due by Aug. 8.

Longtime Lewiston Civic Theatre teacher Mary Minton will be teaching how to use body language, facial expressions and voice to convey a character on stage. Improvisational games will help introduce kids to the basic techniques of acting.
