We took a walk along the Lewiston levee and this little dog was as friendly as could be. His owners smiled as I captured this shot. Taken February 9, 2019 by Mary Hayward of Clarkston.

Le Ann Wilson of Orofino captured this bright green bogeyman lurking around Elk River on March; it looks a lot like Mike from Monsters, Inc. The horrifying hydrant is one of several hydrants painted to look like animals and Pixar characters.

A beautiful Hummingbird Moth flitting from bloom-to-bloom on my hanging basket of Petunias. The photo was taken on September 19, 2023, at around 3PM. At first, I thought it was a very small hummingbird, until I moved closer and got a better look. The curled antennae gave it away. Other than that, the moth flies and feeds just like a hummingbird. What a delight to see!
