The photo was taken by Leif Hoffmann during a visit with family to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site in Richmond, BC, on Dec. 23, 2017. Canada celebrated it's sesquicentennial in 2017, granting free access to everyone to its national parks and historic sites. The cannery was once the leading producer of canned salmon in British Columbia.
