Honey Bee & Shadow

jernfran62
After an appointment ay the Spokane VA, I visited the beautiful Dahlia garden they have there. Dahlia's are native to Mexico with showy and variously colored flower heads. I happed to catch a honey bee when landed on a flower and began collecting pollen. After I photographed the bee I noticed I also captured it's shadow on the flower pedal, something I wasn't expecting. By Jerry Cunnington, 10/2011.
