ICA Listening Session/NEA Challenge America Grant

At the Council Chambers inside City Hall. Registration is limited to 35 participants and is available at bit.ly/MoscowArtsMeetings. 10-11 a.m., Idaho Commission on the Arts Listening Session with presenter Laura von Boecklin Curry, executive director of the ICA. The ICA is planning its work for the next five years and is holding Listening Sessions across the state to ensure that the voices of artists and organizations are represented in the new plan. Ideas generated in these sessions will help to shape future funding, programs and services to support the arts in Idaho. 11:15 a.m. tp 12:15 p.m., National Endowment for the Arts Challenge America Grant with presenter Lisa Mariam, grants management specialist for Challenge America. The Challenge America grant offers $10,000 grants primarily to small organizations for projects that extend the reach of the arts to underserved groups/communities.
