“Inspired Native: Redefining Identity through Reclamation, Decolonization and Artistic Sovereignty”

Dr. Jacqueline Wilson (Yakama) will lead an overview of classical music’s use in Native American communities from the assimilation era of federal policy through present day with a focus on contemporary American composers and performers including Raven Chacon, Connor Chee and Louis W.
