Veteran journalist and author visits to discuss an eccentric and perhaps forgotten regional homesteader, Cashup Davis. In his book, “Cashup Davis: The Inspiring Life of a Secret Mentor," co-authored with Gordy Davis, a great-grandson of Davis, Burnside writes about one of Washington’s first “celebrity pioneers." Known across America in the 1880s, Davis became obsessed with building a grand hotel atop Steptoe Butte. Books will be available for purchase.
