KAMIAH — A lot of meat is about to go on the grill for the 77th annual Kamiah BBQ Days.

Dances, arts and crafts, quilts and a free barbecue dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday on Idaho Street are a few of the weekend’s highlights.

The Central Idaho Art Association will showcase works by members from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Central Idaho Agency, 419 Main St. Other events Friday on Main Street include the Chamber Beer Garden and a teen dance at 9 p.m. at Wa A-Yas.

Saturday starts with a Chuck Wagon breakfast from 7-10 a.m. at the Clearwater Valley Roundup Association Grounds. The Grand Main Street Parade begins at 11 a.m. More than 50 vendors will sell wares at the 11th annual Arts & Crafts Fair, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Fifth and Idaho streets. More than 100 regional quilters will display work in the 19th annual Quilt Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the basement of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 407 Seventh St.

Saturday’s Street Dance under the stars from 8 p.m. to midnight will feature live music by the Moscow rock and blues band Bare Wires on the outdoor stage at Fifth and Idaho streets. Admission is free. Food concessions and the Chamber Beer Garden will be open.
