Laura Read and Caitlyn Curran

Join the University of Idaho English Department's Creative Writing Program and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies for a reading by two award-winning poets. Read will be reading from her new book, "But She Is Also Jane," winner of the Juniper Prize. Her poetry is fierce, feminist and very funny. She will be joined by UI MFA alumnus Caitlyn Curran, celebrating the publication of her first book, "With Midnight Down Your Throat," a formally and thematically powerful collection that won the Emma Howell Rising Poet Prize. BookPeople will be on hand to sell books, which the authors will happily sign.
